Marketing Automation Specialist

DOZR leverages technology to empower contractors across North America to run their businesses more efficiently. Today we have approximately 3000 contractors that use the platform to rent and roughly $300 million worth of equipment available in inventory across North America.

As a member of the DOZR Marketing Team, the Marketing Automation Specialist will be well-versed in marketing automation and customer relationship management. You are responsible for program execution in our marketing automation platform (Marketo), database management, and creating scalable processes that ensure best practices in lead generation and lead nurturing. You'll be expected to develop and track our email campaigns to increase our lead generation and amplify brand awareness. Marketing activities include email development and segmentation, triggered and nurture campaign execution, content curation, landing page creation and collateral creation to support revenue in tight alignment with associated business initiatives and company objectives.

In a typical day you might:

  • Develop, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of our email marketing programs and translate data into actionable insights.

  • Optimize emails through A/B and multivariate testing: template, segmentation, content, calls-to-action, timing and frequency.

  • Write engaging content and design graphics for your campaigns.

  • Manage the day-to-day marketing automation and sales management tools (Salesforce and Marketo).

  • Make data-driven decisions around generating demand, improve results through continuous testing and refinement strategies.

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams with the creation of new materials and edit existing materials.

What we’re looking for:

  • University degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is required.

  • At least 2 years strategizing marketing automation and email marketing efforts.

  • Hands-on experience setting up email marketing or automation workflows and behaviorally segmented campaigns in marketing automation systems such as MailChimp, Marketo, Pardot, HubSpot etc.

  • Understanding and experience with enterprise level email and marketing automation platform and CRM integration (i.e. SFDC).

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Basic HTML skills desirable, but not required.

  • Solid understanding of A/B testing strategies.

  • Proficient in basic copywriting, lead generation strategy, and design principles.

  • Outstanding project management skills.

  • Outstanding communication, organizational, and time management skills.

  • You have mastered data analysis with Excel/Google Sheets, or equivalent.

  • Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills – interacts well with all levels of staff and partners with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.

  • Self-starter, motivated, confident and has the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
